Summary: "The Museum of Northern British Columbia is pleased to present this exhibition. As As well as its work with the artists, the Museum has developed a new design for its own collection, creating exhibits which provide a social focus on the region's history. In addition the Museum has completed the construction of a totem pole carving shed for the use of Prince Rupert's artists, one of the few such facilities in existence. Finally, we wish to thank the artists who have contributed their work to Arts of the Salmon People. We hope that we will continuee to work together for the future of the Northwest Coast."--
