| General Note: | Catalogue of the May 2004 graduation exhibition held at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design. The grad show catalogue represents students' work, but does not necessarily include images of the work submitted by the students as part of their grad projects. Vancouver School of Decorative and Applied Arts (1925) became Vancouver School of Art (1937), which, in turn, became Emily Carr College of Art (1978). In 1981 "and Design" was added. Subsequently, in 1995, “College” was changed to “Institute” in conjunction with its status change to a bachelor<U+2019>s degree-granting facility. Over time, the name unofficially became Emily Carr Institute. In 2008, the school<U+2019>s status once again changed as it became a master<U+2019>s degree-granting facility: Emily Carr University. |
