Adrenaline Junkie

Summary: Between the subject's youthful looks, athleticism, massive internal injuries and reconstructive surgery, including metal rods and screws in his spine and right thigh, and the way he aggressively rides his wave-runner, the team can only ask one question: "How could he not be a war veteran or stuntman?" Bill visits a Hollywood stunt coordinator to learn more; Natalie, suspecting an improvised explosive device in Iraq or Afghanistan, meets with a top neurosurgeon to determine the severity of the subject's spinal cord injury. They both feel they're on the right track. An interesting military-looking tattoo on the subject leads Dan to a tattoo artist to find out more, but his lead comes up short. Both the military theory and a new theory about the subject being a powerboat driver prove to be dead ends. Eventually, when trace amounts of pine tar found on his clothing point towards wheelchair sports, the team zero in on the subject, and ultimately intercept their target on a beach in California.
