Summary: "The UnSettled Exhibition Catalogue highlights the Curatorial Visual Arts Exhibition at the 2017 Queer Arts Festival (QAF) through Pride In Art Society (PiA). Following PiA Society's mission statement to bring professional artistic communities together to support risk-taking, incite creative collaboration and experimentation, and celebrate the rich heritage of queer artists and art; the UnSettled Exhibition, curated by Adrian Stimson, showcased art from Indigenous Two Spirited Artists to address issues of heterogeneity, gender and sexuality for Indigiqueer folks within Contemporary Western Culture, the reclamation and exploration of Two Spirit Identity, while addressing the colonial erasure of Indigenous Art.
