Gaston's Recital

Melançon, André, (film director.). Larose, Paul, (film producer.). National Film Board of Canada (Montreal), (film producer.). National Film Board of Canada (Montreal), (film producer.).

Summary: The choice is not easy to make: his violin or his hockey stick. Gaston, the best player on the team, is supposed to perform in a recital at the same time his hockey team is scheduled to play a very important game. It seems as though it must be either one or the other; but with the help of an understanding grandfather and his anxious team-mates, Gaston manages both to save the game and to play his violin. (Film in French, useful for teaching French as a Second Language).
