Summary:
"Mama Does" is written on the cover and provides a sentence starter for the rest of the book. Woolfelt pages are appliquéd and embroidered to represent "Mama" performing tasks, including "the laundry," "the comforting," "the mending," and the cooking." The last page, "the traveling," is also appliquéd and embroidered but also includes a doll of "Mama" which can snap in and out of the page. On the back of the book, a final sentence ending, "As she pleases," suggests that "Mama does as she pleases."--Provided by artist.
